Welcome to Vision Pacific

At Vision Pacific, our team is comprised entirely of people with disabilities who live our beliefs and show that our Visionary Living approach delivers results. At the heart of what we do is our belief that with the right opportunity, and support from family/whanau, people with disabilities can participate fully and independently in society. We’re all about making that happen.

Moving into your first flat, the dignity that comes from having your own pay packet after a week’s work, settling down with someone you love. They’re all things most of us want. Disability need not prevent someone from achieving any and all of these goals.

Based on our Maori and Pacific Island heritage, we know a holistic approach to social issues is highly beneficial, and not just to people with a Maori or Pacific Island background. All ethnicities can benefit from the holistic approach we offer.

It is so easy for a family member to complete a task if a person with a disability appears to be struggling or taking longer to complete it. The family member is doing so because they genuinely want to help. But without practice, and family/whanau encouraging their journey of independence, a person with a disability won’t get the chance to develop their skills. That’s why Vision Pacific takes the time to work with family/whanau, as well as the person with a disability, to help achieve the best outcome possible for everyone.
